"astonished" Magic Show

POSITION OVERVIEW

Be part of an exciting evening in downtown Dallas! We are looking for an individual who is available one weekend a month (typically Friday + Saturday) for simple setup, teardown and operation of AVL during a live magic performance at Omni Dallas.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Set up & tear down of simple, temporary lighting, video, and audio elements.
• Initiate simple video/lighting cues & monitor sound during performance
• Troubleshoot technical issues quickly and professionally during events as needed

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure while maintaining composure
• Basic understanding of sound, lighting, and video equipment
• Physical ability to lift equipment up to 50 pounds and work on ladders
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

SCHEDULE & COMPENSATION

Compensation: $23/hour (Approx 20-22hrs/wknd)

Hours: Support will be needed primarily Friday (10AM-11PM) & Saturday (4PM- Approx Midnight) at the Dallas Omni Hotel.

2026 Show Dates: Must be available for all dates below.

August 7-8 (Fri & Sat)

Sept 4-5 (Fri & Sat)

Oct 29-30 (Thurs & Fri)

Nov 13-14 (Fri & Sat)

Dec 17-20 (Thurs-Sun)
